The event

The COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally changed the way we live and work, putting digitization on fast-forward. In turn, the prevalence, intensity and sophistication of cyberattacks have surged, exposing the many vulnerabilities in our digital infrastructure.

2021 marked a turning point for Cyber Security and reminded us that no corner of the world is immune. But more challenges lie ahead. COVID-19 variations uncertainty, rising electricity prices, and higher inflation will slow the global growth of the economy. In such times, crimes usually increase. Fraud and cyberattacks are expected to become more frequent and volatile in 2022.

Once a worry mainly for IT leaders, the risk of a cyber intrusion is now a top concern for CEOs and world leaders. Cyberattacks threaten businesses of all sizes and sectors, as well as governments across the globe. High-profile attacks have made it clear that security is crucial and forced the public and private sectors to collaborate closely to develop a comprehensive strategy and more effective defenses against threats.
